Welcome to LoLA - How To Register

How to Register?

1. Login to LoLA (See login instructions)
2. Click on the “River Parishes Community College” linkin Self Service. (Note: If you are choosing to attend two different colleges simultaneously you will have access to each college link to register for classes at the prospective college.)
3. Click “Student”
4. Click “Registration”
5. Click “Add or Drop Classes”
6. Choose the appropriate termand click “submit”
7. Click “Class Search”
8. Search Criteria
   1. “Mandatory”: Subject
   2. “Optional”: Course Number, Title, Campus, Instructor, Start/End Time, Days of the Week, etc…
9. Click “Class Search”
10. Check the “Box”of the desired section
11. Option:
    1. Click Register to add class(es) to your schedule
    2. Click Worksheet to review your classes before adding to your schedule.
12. Click “Submit Changes”

Problems You May Encounter

Section Restrictions

Your college may have set restrictions on sections which would prevent you from registering for a section.

• Major/Field of Study
• Campus
• Freshman or Senior
• Etc…

Holds on College Record

If you have a hold from this college or any colleges within the LCTCS system, you may NOT be able to register.

• To view your holds click the “view hold button”.
• If it is an administrative hold visit Student/Enrollment Service to learn more about your hold.
• If it is a Financial Hold visit the Bursar/Fiscal Affairs Department to learn more about your hold

Schedule Assessment

1. From the Registratoin Page click on the Concise Student Schedule Link
2. Choose the appropriate term from the drop down box and click submit
3. Information Shown:
   1. Course Number and Section
   2. Course Title
   3. Campus
   4. Credits
   5. Start and End Dates
   6. Days
   7. Times
   8. Locations
   9. Instructors

Fee Assessment

1. From the Student Menu click on the “Student Account”Link
2. From the Student Account Page click on the “Account Summary by Term”link
3. Shows all tuition and fees for a given semester
