Phi Theta Kappa
Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) recognizes the academic achievement of college students and provides opportunities for its members to grow as scholars and leaders. Established in 1918, Phi Theta Kappa has a presence on almost 1,300 community college campuses in 11 nations.
PTK Requirements
The Beta Xi Mu Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa was chartered on January 8, 2006. Phi Theta Kappa is an international, co-educational honorary society for students attending two-year colleges. Benefits of membership in PTK include scholarship opportunities, recognition for academic achievement, leadership opportunities, and academic and career resources. Eligible students are invited to join each fall and spring semester.
Qualifications
- 3.5 RPCC GPA
- 12 or more college-level (1000-level and above) credit hours earned at RPCC
- Maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA
