The Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA) mandates that colleges and universities participating in federal student financial aid programs must provide specific disclosures to current and prospective students, as well as university employees. This platform has been designed to centralize these important disclosures for easy access.
In addition, the Campus Sex Crimes Prevention Act of 2000 (CSCPA), enacted on October 28, 2000, modifies the Jacob Wetterling Crimes Against Children and Sexually Violent Offender Registration Act and the Clery Act. Under this law, individuals required to register with a state sex offender registry must inform the state about their enrollment or employment status at institutions of higher education. They are also required to identify the specific institutions they are associated with and notify the state of any changes in their enrollment or employment status.
