River Parishes Community College (RPCC) will open registration for the Spring 2027 semester on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, offering new and returning students the opportunity to take the next step toward their educational and career goals.
Priority registration will begin Monday, October 26, for students enrolled in RPCC's Early College Option (ECO) programs, veteran students and students planning to graduate in Spring 2027.
With a wide range of academic, technical and workforce-focused programs, RPCC provides students with opportunities to earn credentials, prepare for in-demand careers or build a foundation for continued education at a four-year university.
“Whether students are just beginning their college journey, returning to complete a credential or preparing for the next step in their careers, RPCC is committed to helping them move forward,” said Quintin D. Taylor, Chancellor of RPCC. “We encourage students to take advantage of the upcoming registration period, connect with our team and secure the courses they need to stay on track toward achieving their goals.”
RPCC offers programs in high-demand fields such as Process Technology, Instrumentation and Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Welding, Health Sciences and more. Students interested in pursuing a bachelor's degree can also explore RPCC's transfer pathways, including statewide transfer options and agreements with four-year universities.
In addition to career-focused programs and transfer opportunities, RPCC offers smaller class sizes, hands-on learning experiences and personalized student support. Success Coaches are available to help students explore program options, develop academic plans and select courses that align with their goals.
Students are encouraged to apply early so they are prepared to register when their enrollment window opens. Current students should connect with their Success Coach to plan their spring schedules and identify the courses needed to continue making progress toward graduation.
Spring 2027 Registration Dates
- Monday, October 26: Priority registration opens for ECO students, veterans and students graduating in Spring 2027.
- Wednesday, October 28: Registration opens for all eligible students.
