St. Charles, LA - River Parishes Community College (RPCC) will host an open house event on Tuesday, March 28th from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the United Way of St. Charles Campus.
The open house will take place during the same week as Community College Week, which is a week that all community colleges across the state of Louisiana celebrate.
“River Parishes Community College United Way of St. Charles Campus would like to invite you to our Open House Event. Open House at RPCC will give you the opportunity to speak with experts on our technical and academic programs, speak with financial aid counselors to learn about the financial assistance available, meet our friendly faculty and staff, as well as speak to current students about the perks of attending our college. Stop by our open house to see all that RPCC has to offer you,” said Campus Coordinator, Brandi Pennison.
At the open house, visitors will also have the opportunity to learn about scholarships, ways to get involved, and as listed in the quote above, what programs the college offers. Some of the programs at the St. Charles campus include medical coding, medical assisting, process technology, general studies, drafting and design, and more.

Along with the open house event, the St. Charles campus will be celebrating Community College Week by hosting other events for CURRENT STUDENTS ONLY like biscuit and breakfast giveaways, a WorkReadyU Luncheon (the adult education program), giveaways sponsored by the RPCC Student Government Association (SGA) and more.
