On Thursday, September 22nd, RPCC's Dean of Applied Sciences, Jeremy Whittemore, presented with the American Welding Society at the Reserve Campus.
The event was a social gathering and was free to all who sent in their RSVP. The event consisted of many guest speakers, instructors, and questions about RPCC's programs. It also consisted of quizzes about welding and the techniques and equipment used.
Before the event started, free food and drinks were served. They also discussed a new scholarship funding opportunity in memory of Glenn Rhoades.
Jeremy also gave a tour of the campus to get people familiarized with the campus. The event had a great turnout and many students participated.
In the end, the welding society presented Jeremy with a certificate and gave him thanks for being their presenter.
