River Parishes Community College (RPCC) proudly announces that Sarina Lirette, Director of Adult Education, has been officially sworn in as Vice President of the Louisiana Association for Public, Community, and Adult Education (LAPCAE).
With eight years of experience in adult education, Lirette has been instrumental in expanding access to literacy, high school equivalency, and workforce preparation programs across the River Parishes region. Under her leadership, RPCC’s Adult Education program has grown in both reach and impact—empowering adult learners to achieve their educational and career goals through personalized instruction, innovative partnerships, and student-centered support.

As Vice President of LAPCAE, Lirette will play a key role in promoting statewide collaboration, professional development, and policy advancement to strengthen adult education programs throughout Louisiana. In this role, she also leads the organization’s Advocacy Committee—reflecting her deep passion for championing adult learners and advancing opportunities that create lasting impact across the state.
