Next week, River Parishes Community College (RPCC) will welcome students back to campus and online for their Fall 2025 semester.
This fall, RPCC continues to grow as a comprehensive institution serving the South Louisiana river region, offering both academic transfer pathways and career-focused technical programs. The college recently celebrated a more than doubling of scholarship recipients, with 93 students awarded $200,000 in scholarships, and saw a record level of student internship participation with leading industry partners. Enrollment and program completions have also surged — with RPCC more than doubling completers and experiencing significant enrollment growth over the past three years.
With campuses in Gonzales, Reserve, Westside in Plaquemine, and the United Way of St. Charles Campus in Boutte, RPCC offers a variety of academic, technical, and health sciences programs that equip students with the skills needed in today’s workforce. The college provides high-demand training in welding, process technology, instrumentation, medical assisting, and practical nursing, as well as Louisiana Transfer Degrees that allow for seamless transition to four-year institutions.
Through partnerships with K-12 school systems, RPCC offers robust dual enrollment opportunities, enabling high school students to earn college credit. The college also delivers tailored workforce training on-site for regional industry leaders such as BASF, DOW, OxyChem, and many others.
Whether seeking to complete high school, enhance career skills, earn an associate degree, or transfer to a university, RPCC provides the resources and support needed to succeed.
