Heavy & Tractor-trailer truck drivers

RPCC Course- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)

RPCC offers Tractor Trailer Driving training in partnership with CDL Certifiers, Inc., resulting in a Class-A CDL.

Course I Over-the-Road Tractor Trailer Training
160 Hrs.RPCC Cost: $4,800 Reboot Cost: $3,500 (CDL Class “A” Learner’s Permit Prep Included)
This course is designed to train people who have no experience or training as an over-the-road tractor-trailer truck driver. The course prepares students for entry-level employment in the transportation industry. This course is four weeks long (160 hours) and includes the following instructional units:

• 80 HR classroom instruction, including 40 hours of study time to prepare for the required learner’s permit.
• 40 HR laboratory, driving range, and vehicle handling.
• 40 HR public roadways driving with a certified driver instructor.
DMV test included.

Course II Over-the-Road Tractor Trailer Training
120 Hrs. RPCC Cost: $3,800 Reboot Cost: $2,500 (CDL Class “A” Learner’s Permit Prep NOT Included)
A Current CDL Class “A” Permit is required to register for this course.
This course is designed to train people who have no experience or training as an over-the-road tractor-trailer truck driver but has a current CDL Class “A” Permit. The course prepares students for entry-level employment in the transportation industry. This course is three weeks long (120 hours) and includes the following instructional units:

• 40 HR classroom instruction
• 40 HR laboratory, driving range, and vehicle handling
• 40 HR public roadways driving with a certified driver instructor. DMV test included.
