Adult Education Online Classes
The RPCC WorkReady U Adult Education program offers hybrid and online options for students.
Students complete the application process similar to those who are attending classes on our campuses. An application is completed and submitted. Then a staff member contacts the student to schedule an appointment for the TABE assessment which gives the instructor an idea of the student’s current academic skills. This testing can potentially be done remotely if the student has the required technology. If not, the student would visit campus. The student then meets with the instructor to review the results and to go through an orientation process to become familiar with the materials and online tools they will be using.
One of the distance learning options includes enrollment in the eLearn program. eLearn is an online program for anyone studying to earn a high school equivalency diploma. Another option for remote learning is enrollment in the Essential Education program.
Depending on a student’s ability to attend class, learning can take place independently at home or can be in combination with class attendance.
If you are interested, fill out the form below, and an instructor will contact you regarding enrollment opportunities. As with our other WRU offerings, participants must be 18 years of age or older.
