About the event:

Just Cause: The Experience is a ripped-from-the-headlines story set in the work-from-home world of the COVID-19 pandemic with backdrops like the death of George Floyd and the #MeToo movement. Your audience will engage together within a fully immersive & interactive experience. This event is open to the public!

EVENT FORMAT:

One-Time Event In-Person Facilitation (IPF) – 2.25 hours

• Tech Check - If possible, 10-20 minutes before the scheduled start the hosts and the Canamac Team do a final check of all tech equipment before participants arrive.
• Preshow - We will screenshare a short video preshow via Zoom that will loop until the scheduled start time OR until participants are in place.
• Intro -The Organization's Contact will make brief welcoming comments, then introduce the Facilitator, who will do a brief introduction.
• Film - We screenshare the film via Zoom and we all watch it together for 70 mins.
• Deliberation - After the film, we stop screenshare. The online cohort joins the event. The Judge comes on VIRTUALLY via Zoom to poll and deliberate with the audience for a verdict. Approx. 15-20 mins.
• Discussion - After the verdict, the Facilitator returns to the front of the space LIVE to engage the audience in deeper conversation about issues raised in the Film and the Deliberation. Approx. 30 mins.
• Closing - We bring the Organization's contact back up for closing remarks. We close out the event.
