APPLICATION FOR FACULTY POSITION
River Parishes Community College seeks to hire full and part time faculty who meet academic and professional requirements established by the Southern Association of Colleges and School Commission on Colleges. Therefore, faculty members hired to teach college level courses "must have completed at least 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline and hold at least a master's degree." Faculty hired to teach developmental or remedial courses "must hold a baccalaureate degree in a discipline related to their teaching assignment and have either teaching experience in a discipline related to their assignment or graduate training in remedial education."(Principles of Accreditation, SACS, 2012).
This application must be completed in its entirety and a resume submitted in order for you to be considered for a faculty position at River Parishes Community College. Information contained in a resume or other attachment will not be accepted in lieu of your completing this application. Official college/university transcripts sent directly from the institution to RPCC will be required prior to final selection. Evidence of meeting the minimum qualifications must be clearly stated on this application in order for you to be considered for employment with the College.
