Join us during Community College Week March 27th-31st at one or all of our events. Make sure to sign in with your name and contact information at each event. The more events you attend, the more chances you get to win this exclusive prize. Each name will be dropped into one pool Friday afternoon and the winner will be announced the following week. Make sure you have the correct email on file. The winner will have 4 business days to grab their prize. Check out a list of events below. 

Monday, March 27th 

• Kick it With a Biscuit 
  • Campus Location: St. Charles Campus (center hallway) 
  • Time: 8 a.m. - 10 a.m.
  • Purpose: Current students are welcome to stop by and grab breakfast on their way to and from class to kick-off Community College Week (open to current students)
• Health is Wealth
  • Campus Location: Westside
  • Time: 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.
  • Purpose: It’s time to prioritize your health. Join us on campus to learn how to increase your well-being and balance being a current or potential Rougarou. Healthy snack options are available to choose from! (open to public)
• Academic Affairs Showcase
  • Campus Location: Gonzales
  • Time: 11:30 - 1 p.m.
  • Purpose: Want to learn about RPCC program offerings? Join us at our Gonzales and complete our Rougarou passport to earn free RPCC swag. Need help registering for next semester? We will have advisors available to assist with all your enrollment needs. Stop by before or after class!
• Student Appreciation Luncheon
  • Campus Location: Gonzales
  • Time: 12 p.m.
  • Purpose: Students will be able to enjoy special perks by furthering their learning at RPCC. Students will also be able to tour the campus (private event) 

Tuesday, March 28th

• Open House
  • Campus Location: St. Charles
  • Time: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
  • Purpose: Visit the campus to learn about program offerings and what makes our United Way of St. Charles campus. You may also receive assistance filling out an RPCC application, tour our facility, and learn more about how to advance your career (open to public)
• WRU Luncheon
  • Campus Location: Westside
  • Time: 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
  • Purpose: Adult Education students will be able to enjoy special perks by furthering their learning at RPCC. Students will be able to tour the campus and enjoy a free lunch hosted by the Office of Recruitment (private event)
• Student Appreciation Luncheon
  • Campus Location: Reserve
  • Time: 11 a.m.
  • Purpose: Students will be able to enjoy special perks by furthering their learning at RPCC. Students will also be able to tour the campus (private event)

Wednesday, March 29th

• Health Check 
  • Campus Location: Gonzales
  • Time: 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. 
  • Purpose: Time to get that Health Check! Join us in the atrium to get your blood pressure checked. Each person who stops by for information will be able to spin the prize wheel to win RPCC swag items. You don’t want to miss this event! Also, meet some of our current Health Science students while at it and hear about their experience (open to public)
• WRU Luncheon
  • Campus Location: St. Charles
  • Time: 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Thursday, March 30th

• Career Link sponsored by Shell
  • Campus Location: Reserve
  • Time: 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.
  • Purpose: High school students who are unsure of where to begin after graduating are invited to our Gonzales campus to meet with local industry partners, meet our faculty, and enjoy lunch sponsored by Shell. Students are also eligible to qualify for a scholarship at RPCC (private event)
• K12 Partners Breakfast
  • Campus Location: Gonzales
  • Time: 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.
  • Purpose: RPCC meets with Ascension parish’s K-12 partners to share the benefits of creating and maintaining dual enrollment partnerships hosted by Admissions (private event)
• FAFSA Day
  • Campus Location: St. Charles (RM E110)
  • Time: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
  • Purpose: Financial aid can be tricky. If you need help, our financial aid advisor will be available (open to public)
• Student Appreciation Luncheon
  • Campus Location: St. Charles
  • Time: 11 a.m. 
  • Purpose: Students will be able to enjoy special perks by furthering their learning at RPCC. Students will also be able to tour the campus (private event)
• Student Appreciation Luncheon
  • Campus Location: Westside

• Chat with the Chancellor 
  • Campus Location: Gonzales (BASF RM)
  • Time: 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. 
  • Purpose: Students are welcome to meet their new chancellor and enjoy a catered lunch (open to students)
• Chancellor Inauguration
  • Campus Location: Gonzales
  • Time: 3 p.m. - 6 p.m.
  • Purpose: Everyone is welcome to join this commemorative event as RPCC’s 3rd chancellor shared his future for the college and the community. Come with your questions prepared and enjoy a tour of recently renovated facility (open to public)

Friday, March 31st

• Applied Sciences in the Digital Age
  • Campus Location: Gonzales
  • Time: 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
  • Purpose: Check out some of our Applied Sciences programs such as PTEC, Instrumentation, Drafting, and Welding at RPCC. Everyone will be able to experience the VR systems and meet with our instructors (open to public)
