ATMAE is an exciting, professional association with more than 1,000 members who share technology, management and applied engineering ideas, research, and applications in hopes of positively impacting the future. Since 1967, ATMAE members, who are college and university educators, administrators, students, and industry professionals, have been dedicated to solving complex technological problems and developing the competitive technologist and applied engineering workforce. They do this through specialized accreditation for two and four-year degree programs, personal certifications, an annual national conference, publications, awards and scholarships, career center, a website filled with valuable content, and numerous opportunities to develop professionally.
The North American Process Technology Alliance (NAPTA) is an organization of the Process Technology (PTEC) education providers and their business, industry, and community advisers who work toward common goals. The NAPTA is the standard–bearer of the PTEC curriculum. The NAPTA audits PTEC degree programs in North America and endorses those that meet its criteria. Several colleges have received the NAPTA endorsement.
