NOTE: Students will not have Moodle access until the first day of classes.
Use your LoLA User Name and Password to log into Moodle.
You must have an active account in LoLA in order to access RPCC Moodle.
You should not change your password in Moodle. You must change it in LoLA.
For problems logging into Moodle, use the "Forgot your LoLA log-in information?" button on the left side of the Moodle login page, or send an email to support@lctcs.edu, or call the Support Line at 855-227-8102.
Faculty members also use their LoLA User Name and Password to log into Moodle.

NOTE: Moodle accounts and the RPCC Campus Email accounts for students are completely separate. Changing the password in one will not change the password in the other.

Printing Documents From Moodle Courses
In order to
print a document found in your Moodle courses, you must download the docuement to your Flash Drive or to your computer's hard drive first.
After downloading the document, open it with the appropriate software program. This includes MS PowerPoint files, MS Word files, MS Excel files, etc..
If you have questions about how to use Moodle, view the tutorials on this page and make sure your computer settings are correct for using Moodle per the instructions in
Minimum Computer Requirements.
If you need help with a Login problem, use the
"Yes, help me log-in" button on the Moodle Login page. An email with your new password will be sent to the email address listed in your Moodle profile. The default email address is your RPCC student email account, unless you have changed it.
If you have concerns about
course content (this does
not mean a log in problem!), contact your instructor.
If you add a course and it is not listed in your Moodle account, check your course schedule in Passport. If your added course is on your course schedule, but does not appear in Moodle within 36 hours, contact
moodle@rpcc.edu.

After checking the documentation on each of these sites, if you cannot find a solution to your Moodle problem, email
moodle@rpcc.edu. The subject of the email should include the "RPCC Moodle Problem."
Hardware:
- IBM compatible PC with Pentium II 500 MHz and above, with XP operating system or better
or
- MAC Power PC, G3 233 MHz machines or better, with OS X latest version
- Both PCs and Macs should have a sound card with speakers or headphones
Internet and Browsers:
- dependable high-speed connection (cable or DSL)
- Firefox 5 or later (Mac users must use Firefox latest version)
-Note: Mozilla Firefox works best with Moodle
or
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 (turn on Compatibility View in IE 8)
- Note: Internet Explorer 9 does not work well with Moodle

Microsoft Office 2007 documents may not open in older versions of Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Word documents, PowerPoint documents, and Excel documents unless the documents are saved in the 2003 format or a converter is installed.
There is a FREE conversion patch available at the Microsoft website that will enable users to open, view, and edit Office 2007 documents in Office 2000, Office XP, or Office 2003 versions of the software.

Microsoft Works is not a valid alternative to the Microsoft Office Suite.
It is recommended that you save all word-processed documents as Rich Text Format (.rtf) files
