RPCC Office Open Two Saturdays in Jan.

By Steven W. Johnston

SORRENTO, La.—It’s not too late to begin – or continue – a college education this semester. Classes begin Jan.19 at River Parishes Community College, and students still have time to apply. The early enrollment period has ended, but late registration continues until Jan. 21.

In order to accommodate the last-minute rush of student enrollments, RPCC will be open for business on two Saturdays in early January. School advisors will be available on Jan. 9 and 16 to assist prospective students who wish to enroll, or to assist in scheduling classes. Staff will also be on hand to accept tuition payments or conduct placement testing. The staff will be able to conduct any business on those days that they would on a weekday.

Hours of operation on both of those Saturdays will be 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. For more information, call the RPCC Office of Student Services at (225) 675-8270.

A minimal $25 late fee will be will be assessed for each student who enrolls at RPCC from now until Jan. 21.
